Summary

Using the camera it's possible to make equipment icons black, leaving only the equipment's shadow and some other eventual colors coming from the fuse. It's also possible to get fully empty icons.

Instructions

  1. Drop your target equipment on the ground. Its icon needs to be dynamically generated, therefore it needs to have a fuse.
  2. Prepare the camera rune. Pick up your equipment, and instantly take a picture, you can do so by pressing A, then L, and spamming A. Depending on how quick you are, the outcome may change. If you were too slow, you'll get a regular icon. If you were quick enough, you'll get the black/shadow icon, and if you were very quick you'll get no icon at all. The icon stays on save/loading.

Notes

  • Dropping the equipment makes it lose its special icon, except if you instantly pick it back up.
  • Timing on Switch 2 may be tighter.
